International soybean price rises 8%, and harvest advances 70%

In the last 15 days, the price of soybeans in Chicago had an increase of approximately 8% to $325 per ton, a situation that represents a relief for Bolivian producers who report a 70% advance in the 2019-2020 summer crop, of the 1,020,000 hectares planted. The drought recorded in the current campaign will affect a drop in yields, as it is estimated to close with an average of 1.9 and 2 tons per hectare, similar to last year.
