Bagó Laboratories in Bolivia saw the need to create the new e-commerce platform "Bagó 24/7", to have a new channel of attention and support to pharmacies when placing orders, during the sanitary restrictions determined by the quarantine. This activity positions Bagó Laboratories as the first company to venture into B2B (Business to Business) e-commerce in the pharmaceutical industry.

The industry stops receiving daily $10 mn in sales because of the quarantine
In 45 days of the COVID-19 crisis, the income from the invoicing of the productive units has fallen by 450 million dollars, so they are demanding with extreme urgency that the Government hold a summit to save the productive apparatus. They claim that if the industry is paralyzed, more than 600,000 sources of formal jobs and 35,000 national factories are at risk.
Year-on-year inflation in April reached 1.72%
In April 2020, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a positive percentage change of 0.42% compared to March. The accumulated variation to April was positive by 0.44% and over 12 months it reached 1.72%.
Cochabamba loses $40 mn in mineral exports due to the quarantine
In March of this year the department's exports were 121 million kilos, worth $42 million, a year-on-year increase of 30%. In Cochabamba, there are approximately 250 mining companies and cooperatives, 70% of which dedicate to non-metallic mining. It estimates that some 3,000 to 3,500 people work in this area.
