Internet purchases in Bolivia increased by 21% during the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine. The growth registered in recent months is a five-year-jump, says the Kolau marketing platform. Now the goal is for mainly small and micro businesses to jump on the bandwagon of the digital era since it is estimated that of the 600 thousand productive units in Bolivia, only 3% have digitized their businesses. Under a joint agreement between Kolau, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Banco Fie, the goal is for at least 100,000 businesses to be digitized in five years and to reach 13% of the MSMEs.
