Port Jennefer complex mobilized more than a quarter-million tons of cargo

Despite the adversities faced by exports (forest fires, the historical decline of the Paraguay River and the Covid-19), the Port Jennefer complex carried out operations for more than a quarter of a million tons. The Bolivian Institute of Foreign Trade (IBCE), considered that Port Jennefer was the only one that worked without stopping attending to export and import operators, demonstrating the viability of the Paraguay-Paraná Waterway. The waterway can and should become an integration river corridor, involving Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
