YPFB will have a deficit of $5.74 bn in 5 years

An internal report by Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) warns that in five years, between 2020 and 2024, the deficits of the state company will be close to 40 billion Bolivians ($5.74 bn). The projection contained in the document Financial Sustainability specifies in its financial flow projection that the oil company will register the mentioned deficit because the expenses will exceed the income due to the growing importation of fuels and the low sale of gas.
