Bolivia imported $9 mn in Apples from Chile and $7 mn from Argentina

Bolivia produces between 3,000 and 4,000 tonnes of apples per year and imports around 35,000 tonnes from Argentina and Chile. National production accounts for at least 9% of demand. Between January and November 2020, 21,000 tonnes of apples were bought from Chile for $9 million, while imported 14,000 tonnes from Argentina for $7 million.
