Forest exports increased by 16.3% despite the COVID-19 crisis, reaching $64mn

Despite the economic crisis caused by COVID-19, forestry entrepreneurs report that last year the sector’s sales increased by 16.3% compared to 2019. The value of exports rose to $64 million in 2020 compared to $55 million in 2019. China accounts for 29.8% of total forest product exports, while the United States accounts for 20.8%.
