The cancellation of Carnival in centres such as Oruro, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz will generate losses of $64 million. In Oruro it is estimated that $35 million will be lost, $14 million in Santa Cruz and $15 million in Cochabamba.

$132.26 mn trust fund will benefit more than 100,000 agricultural producers
More than 100,000 agricultural producers will benefit from 15-year loans to be financed by the Bs.911 million ($132.26 million) trust fund for the reactivation of the productive apparatus. The producers are included in the Régimen Agropecuario Unificado (RAU) system and previously did not benefit from these credits.
Cochabamba farmers ask government for $150 million in support due to rains

Imports of school supplies dropped 43% in 2020
Imports of school supplies shrank by 43% in value and 37% in volume due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, 10 million kilos of school supplies and backpacks worth $28 million were imported, while in 2019, 15 million kilos worth $50 million were purchased, according to the Bolivian Institute of Foreign Trade (IBCE).
